In the
beginning of the nineties I studied crafts at the Appalachian
Center for Crafts, Tennessee Tech University, in the United
States.
I studied Metalsmithing, blacksmithing, glass blowing and clay.
Within a short period of time it became obvious to me that
metals were my favorite media.
In 1993 I returned to Israel and started working as an
independent jeweler and jewelry designer.. During this period I
worked for other jewelry designers as well.
What interests and motivates me is creating jewelry with a fresh
and unique look by applying unorthodox uses and techniques to
the materials I work with. These materials include silver, gold
and gem stones, pebbles, silicon glass and cold enamel.
I strive to create jewelry that is interesting and pleasing to
the eye and to touch thus creating an all round sensual
experience.
